Vidforge AI Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: September 8, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") explains the content and conduct rules that apply when you use Vidforge AI (the "Service").

This AUP forms part of our Terms of Service. It applies to every account holder and to all prompts, instructions, reference images or other media, generated images and videos, downloads, sharing, API use, and other activity through the Service (collectively, "Content"). Terms defined in the Terms of Service have the same meanings here.

1. Use the Service Responsibly

You must use the Service lawfully and responsibly. Before uploading an input, you must have all rights, permissions, notices, and consents needed for that input and for your intended use of the resulting output. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before using, publishing, or relying on them.

AI-generated output may be inaccurate, unexpected, similar to other content, or subject to third-party rights. Generation by the Service does not give you permission to use a person's likeness, a copyrighted work, a trademark, or other protected material.

2. Prohibited Content and Conduct

Do not use the Service to create, upload, request, generate, distribute, publish, store, promote, or assist with Content or conduct that falls within any of the following categories.

2.1 Child Safety and Sexual Content

  • Any child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexual exploitation of a minor, or sexualised depiction of a minor, whether real, fictional, generated, edited, or attempted.
  • Sexual, nude, intimate, or otherwise sexually exploitative imagery of a real person without that person's clear consent.
  • Pornographic, explicit sexual, or NSFW material, including material intended to circumvent age or content safeguards.
  • Grooming, trafficking, exploitation, or solicitation involving a minor.

2.2 Violence, Extremism, and Illegal Harm

  • Credible threats, incitement, glorification, or instructions for violence, terrorism, violent extremism, or genocide.
  • Instructions or operational assistance to make, acquire, or use weapons of mass destruction, explosives, or other weapons for unlawful harm.
  • Graphic gore or cruelty intended primarily to shock, glorify, or encourage violence.
  • Content that facilitates suicide, self-harm, abuse, trafficking, or other unlawful physical harm.

2.3 Hate, Harassment, and Abuse

  • Content that attacks, dehumanises, threatens, or encourages discrimination or violence against people based on protected characteristics.
  • Targeted harassment, bullying, stalking, doxxing, blackmail, or extortion.
  • Defamatory content or content intended to cause unlawful harm to a person or organisation.

2.4 Deception, Impersonation, and Synthetic Media

  • Impersonating a real person, brand, organisation, government body, or public authority in a way that is likely to deceive or cause harm.
  • Deceptive deepfakes, including a manipulated or synthetic image or video of a real person without permission, especially where it depicts intimate, criminal, defamatory, or otherwise harmful conduct.
  • Fraud, scams, phishing, identity theft, forged evidence, or false claims about the authenticity, source, endorsement, or origin of Content.
  • Political or civic content that deceptively represents a real person or event, interferes with elections, or misleads people about voting or public safety.

When sharing materially realistic AI-generated or AI-altered Content, you must not present it as authentic human-captured or human-created material where that would materially mislead people. You must make an appropriate disclosure when required by applicable law.

2.5 Intellectual Property, Privacy, and Personal Rights

  • Infringing or facilitating infringement of copyright, trademark, trade secret, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
  • Uploading a person's image, voice, video, or personal information without the rights, permissions, and consents required for your use.
  • Creating material designed to copy a living artist's distinctive style where that use is unlawful, deceptive, or violates a third party's rights.
  • Collecting, exposing, or using personal data without authorisation.

2.6 Illegal, Regulated, and High-Impact Uses

  • Activity that violates applicable law, regulation, sanctions, export controls, or third-party provider terms.
  • Unlawful drug sales, gambling, prostitution, or other illegal commercial activity.
  • Instructions or tools to commit cybercrime, including malware, ransomware, credential theft, phishing, denial-of-service attacks, or unauthorised access to systems, accounts, or data.
  • Content intended to replace qualified professional judgment in medical, legal, financial, emergency, employment, insurance, housing, credit, or other high-impact decisions where it may cause harm or violate law.

2.7 Service Abuse

  • Attempting to bypass safety measures, content restrictions, rate limits, access controls, or provider safeguards, including through jailbreak prompts.
  • Interfering with the security, availability, integrity, or operation of the Service or its providers.
  • Sharing credentials, reselling or sublicensing access, using automated means beyond authorised interfaces, or creating accounts to evade restrictions.
  • Using Service inputs, outputs, model responses, or derived data to train, fine-tune, benchmark, distil, or develop a competing AI or machine-learning model without our prior written permission.

3. Content Safeguards and Review

We may use automated safeguards, including safety features made available by the applicable AI-model provider, to detect or block certain prohibited inputs, outputs, or patterns of use. We may also investigate Content or accounts that are reported, flagged by safeguards, or reasonably suspected of violating this AUP, our Terms of Service, a provider's terms, or applicable law.

Reports and safety flags are triaged by the relevant risk, including child safety, non-consensual intimate imagery, violence, fraud, intellectual property, privacy, and service abuse. We assess the information available, and may use automated checks and human review as appropriate to verify the report, identify the affected Content or account, and determine whether this AUP or applicable law may have been violated. We may request additional information when it is needed to assess a report. Reports involving an immediate risk of harm or a serious legal concern may be prioritised and handled without prior notice.

Safeguards are not guaranteed to identify every violation, and a failure to block Content does not mean it is permitted. Do not try to test, evade, or defeat these safeguards. We may preserve relevant account, Content, and security records where reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect people, comply with law, or enforce our agreements, as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Reporting Violations

To report Content or conduct that may violate this AUP, including suspected CSAM, non-consensual intimate imagery, impersonation, fraud, or intellectual property concerns, email support@vidforge.io.

Please include, where available:

  • Your name and contact email;
  • The relevant account, URL, task, asset, or screenshot;
  • A clear description of the concern and the AUP category involved; and
  • Any information that helps us verify authority, ownership, consent, or harm.

Do not include illegal material, including CSAM, in a report. If there is an immediate danger or a suspected crime, contact local emergency services or the appropriate law-enforcement authority first. We will handle reports in accordance with applicable law and our Privacy Policy. We may not be able to share the outcome or details of an investigation.

After review, we may take the measures described in Section 5, including blocking a generation, restricting or removing Content, limiting an account, or suspending or terminating access. Where reasonably practicable and appropriate, we will notify the reporting party or affected account of the result; we may withhold details to protect privacy, safety, the integrity of an investigation, or legal obligations.

5. Enforcement

Depending on the seriousness, context, recurrence, and legal requirements, we may take one or more of the following actions:

  • Refuse or stop a generation request;
  • Remove, restrict, or disable access to Content;
  • Issue a warning or require corrective action;
  • Limit features, models, credits, rate limits, or account access;
  • Suspend or terminate an account; and
  • Preserve records and report or disclose information to third parties or authorities when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect people, the Service, or third parties.

We may take immediate action for severe violations, including CSAM, non-consensual intimate imagery, credible threats, terrorism, fraud, or serious security abuse. Enforcement decisions are made in light of the information available and do not limit any legal rights or remedies.

6. Appeals

If you believe we restricted your Content or account in error, you may request a review within 14 calendar days of our notice by emailing support@vidforge.io from the email associated with your account. Include the notice or relevant task details and explain why you believe the decision was incorrect. We will review the request when reasonably practicable; submitting an appeal does not guarantee restoration.

7. Changes and Contact

We may update this AUP from time to time. For material changes, we will provide notice by posting the revised AUP, by email, or by another reasonable method at least 14 days before it takes effect when required or reasonably practicable. The "Last updated" date shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the Service after the effective date means that you accept the revised AUP.

For questions about this AUP, contact support@vidforge.io.
